Lion Hill Production is an independent film production company based in Stockholm, Sweden, dedicated to producing and co-producing films that challenge, educate, and leave a lasting impact.
Our mission is simple: to bring thought-provoking films to the world and ensure they are seen, discussed, and remembered.
What we stand for
Filmmaker-Driven – We believe that directors and creatives should retain control of their work. Our role is to provide the resources, structure, and support to help bring their vision to life.
Cultural Impact Over Commerce – We are not a traditional commercial production company. Instead, we focus on films with intellectual, educational, and artistic merit—films that create discourse and cultural shifts.
Strong Industry Partnerships – We work with some of the most respected names in the film industry, including Plattform Produktion (Force Majeure, Triangle of Sadness, Fantastic Machine). Our network allows us to bring together the right funding, production support, and festival exposure for every project we take on.
Our current focus
We are currently working on Being Human, a feature-length documentary with Plattform Produktion, while also growing the Lion Hill Film Fund to support more impactful projects.
